Community Discussions

Public xAgent discussions live in xagent-releases Discussions. This is the place to share real usage scenarios, discuss product ideas, and build reusable knowledge together.

Discussions vs. Issues

Discussions are not a bug tracker. For reproducible defects or failures involving downloads, installation, or upgrades, open an Issue.

An Issue should include:

  • Your xAgent version, operating system, and deployment method.
  • What happened and what you expected instead.
  • Safe-to-share logs, screenshots, and reproduction steps.
  • Troubleshooting you have already tried.

Feature ideas, scenario discussions, and Skill improvements do not need an Issue first. Start in Discussions. Maintainers can move confirmed, well-scoped work into an Issue when needed.

Discussion Guidelines

  • Do not post real keys, tokens, verification codes, customer data, internal addresses, or unredacted logs.
  • Do not post sexually explicit material, violence, hate, harassment, political incitement, unlawful transactions, spam, or content unrelated to xAgent.
  • When sharing a case, explain the goal, input material type, key constraints, and expected result. This is more useful than a feature name alone.
  • Keep Skill improvements focused on general workflows, input requirements, output standards, quality checks, and safety boundaries. Do not make a particular third-party MCP, private service, or personal account a default dependency.
  • Real limitations and failure reports are welcome. They help improve the product as much as successful examples do.

Maintainers may remove content that violates these rules, lock conversations that get out of hand, or limit interaction from accounts that repeatedly violate them.
